Google has now launched a beta version of Google Chrome, a new browser to compete with Microsoft’s Internet Explorer…
I have just installed the beta and I must say i’m pretty darn impressed. Will evaluate this new BETA software over the next few days to see how it works… I have high hopes for this one!

According to Apple (and confirmed by Hardware 2.0 - on Zdnet - Adrian Kingsley-Hughes) Safari 3.1 is truly the fastest browser at the moment - followed very closely by Firefox 3 beta 4. You can read about this benchmark test on http://blogs.zdnet.com/hardware/?p=1536&page=2 - Not surprisingly… Internet Explorer 7 is the slowest browser.
