I don’t want to be the cause of panic, fear and pant wetting accidents (since the chance is pretty slim)but….. I saw this article on Gizmodo, and i felt the urge to share!
Apparently, theres a binary star some 8,000 light years from us that is on the brink of explding! This usually isnt something to worry about, but this star has one of it’s poles pointed right at us, which practically means that if it explodes, it will shoot a powerful beam of destructive gamma-rays to our planet and have sever effects on our Ozone Layer
